 The internet is a large network that links computer and different data all over the world and helps share information. In the early 1900s, Nikola Tesla came up with the idea of a global wireless system and Paul Otlet and Vannevar Bush was able to bring this idea to life with the mechanized storage systems they created. The first prototype of internet was created in the 1960s and used as a government weapon in the Cold War and for research and communication purposes. Now, we can use the internet to access a lot of information and use it as a library and a good educational field.        My name is Haylie Yaslowitz and I am a freshman majoring in Forensics. I am from Tampa and my hobbies include dancing and working out (when I find the motivation to do so). I was a gymnast for seven years and a dancer for almost five years and I felt I've grown so much from doing both. One of my goals is to learn another language, specifically Romanian. Next year, I want to major in Forensic and minor in film.     My first feelings and impressions of this class was that I am going to enjoy this a lot. It's right up my alley and I'm taking it for fun. I feel that I'm going to learn so much and get more into editing and photoshop and all of that. Professor Roundtree made me feel very comfortable the first day. She got me excited and ready to explore more in this subject and the class in general seems like a good environment.     I expect this class to make me improve in digital editing.
